Terms and Conditions

General

  • Registration and material are excluded from the general course fees
  • Extra transport and parking charges may apply
  • If students do not attend a scheduled lesson, it cannot be rescheduled and it will be considered as taken.
  • Ascensi wings professional and managment development training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session or course due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Group sessions cannot be rescheduled by the student.
  • Booking for 1 course will be valid for 3 months after payment.
  • Booking for 2 courses will be valid for 6 months after payment.
  • Booking for 3 or more courses will be valid for 12 months after payment.
  • Private course schedules – Private course schedule and frequency needs to be confirmed at the time of booking the course. Rescheduling of any session needs to be done in advance by sending a request to your coordinator.
  • One-to-One (Private) and Duo-Learning (Semi-Private) students must inform the Institute at least 24 hours prior to the cancellation or rescheduling of a session otherwise it will be counted as taken.
  • One-to-One (Private) and Duo-Learning (Semi-Private) students are allowed a maximum of 3 classes postponement and rescheduling with a 24 hour prior notification to the course coordinator.If the student exceeds this number of postponed classes, it will be considered as taken
  • Once the online self-study course is activated, there is no refund or credit note for the same. Allow up to 48 hours for issue of license.
  • You may receive occasional updates from Ascensi wings professional and managment development training through email or SMS with pertinent information about courses or offers. Please inform our customer team in case you would not like to receive these alerts.
  • Marketing Campaigns of Special Offers with discounts are applicable on course fees only, payments must be made as per terms and conditions of the campaign and for courses starting on or after the mentioned date.
  • Discount cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or special offers.
  • Please note that as of 1st January 2018, the fees charged on all goods or services by Ascensi wings professional and managment development training will be subject to VAT as prescribed under the Federal Decree-Law No. (8) Of 2017 on value-added taxes.
  • The Executive Regulations (Articles 25, 25, 70 and 80) have clarified that VAT will be due on invoices issued before 1st January 2018, where the actual part or all of goods/services is on or after that date. In order to comply with the statutory requirements, we will therefore have to raise additional invoices for VAT due on the portion of goods/services charged in 2017, but supplied or otherwise derived on or after implementation date i.e. 1st January 2018.
  • Ascensi wings professional and managment development training’s decision on all matters related to any offer shall be final, binding and cannot be challenged.
  • Courses paid with special discounts and promotions are non-refundable.
  • We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currency)

 

REFUND POLICY

  • Course fees are not refundable.  Cancellation of a course is allowed not more than 15 days prior to the start of the course, in which case, a credit note will be issued to be used against a future course of your choice.
  • Credit notes will be valid for 3 months and it is the student’s responsibility to claim them before expiry.
  • Credit notes or refunds will not be issued for individual sessions missed in a group class, and these hours are not exchangeable for One-to-One (Private) sessions.
  • A credit note is not transferable. It can be used for an alternative schedule, course option or a different language or service of the same value.
  • If the course is canceled by Ascensi wings professional and managment development training, it is possible to avail a 100% refund of the course fee.
  • Ascensi Academy reserves the right to postpone a course by no more than 15 days from the original start date.
  • Registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
  • Books and other learning material that are used will not be refunded or exchanged under any circumstances.
  • The number of days to process a refund will be 30 working days.

 

CORPORATE COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Full payment or signed agreement is required in advance to confirm the start date and commence the training.
  • Groups may not reschedule lessons, unless it is with the consensus of all participants and with enough notice.
  • At least 24 hour notice must be provided to the coordinator at Ascensi wings professional and managment development training for cancellations or re-scheduling else the session will be counted as taken.
  • If students do not attend a lesson, the session will still be counted as taken.
  • Make up lessons won’t be arranged if participants miss any sessions.
  • Ascensi wings professional and managment development training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session or course due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Refund policy applies as per terms and conditions of the agreed training contract.
